Every once in a while you come across a property that takes you back in time and revisits a nostalgic historic story worth sharing. That was the case for this reincarnated farmhouse located in Bridgehampton, New York. The current owners are a Manhattan family who accidentally discovered this charming elegant landmark that they call their weekend hideaway.
The showcased quarters are from the June issue of Elle Decor and are the talented efforts of the Interior Designer Steven Gambrel. The 1860 residence persists to reinvent itself and once again has been transformed into a modern classic. With the assistance of Historic Concepts, Steven focused on maintaining the long-standing architecture style in addition to the choice of a vintage color scheme to capture a time-honored traditional aesthetic. The cottage and its old-soul now represent a new vision that continues to glow with the original historic charisma and rich spirit.
