A Hidden Treasure on the North Sea

Bloom_5

This week the interior inspiration is highlighting the home of Mona Nerenberg, owner of the highly regarded home shop Bloom, in Sag Harbor. Although I have never had the pleasure to visit, its reputation comes with wonderful reviews. This comes as no surprise, after viewing Mona’s house in the August issue of Elle Decor.

The property was literally a hidden treasure covered in greenery. Mona purchased the property with her partner Lisa Byron with the goal of a minimal transformation. The two teamed up with the prominent Mark Cunningham to house give the hidden treasure a new personality. They used their creative intelligence and decided to hang on to the rare and distinctive vintage aspects. They then incorporated a crisp, clean, and sophisticated color scheme for an up-to-date elegance.

Mona Nerenberg started the journey determined to renovate with a less is more mindset. Staying the course, the home shares an old soul with a modern mind and an up-to-date chic charm.

Forever Chic!
