In 1939 Katharine Hepburn purchased a set of children’s building blocks and constructed a model home. The house came to be in 1939, on Long Island Sound, in the select community of Fenwick. To honor the season, I want to share a glimpse of Kate’s Old Saybrook, Ct. summer home that sits on 1.47 acres, including 680 feet of beachfront.
Katharine Hepburn and her family used the home for over 65 years until she passed away in 2003. The photos are from Zillow and reflect a renovation completed in 2005 and remain true to the home’s timeless elegance.
