This week, The Update is focused on fall fashion and showcasing the Christian Dior Resort 2018 collection. The runway was the natural terrain of the Upper La Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve, staged with tepees, and campfires to bring to life a western wagon train of elegant beauty.
The creative line, available in October, is the debut of Maria Grazia Chiuri. As the label’s first female director, the designs celebrate a youthful sophistication of the feminine spirit. Turquoise gems, horse prints, and cowboy hats were some of the trimmings used to transform the fashion brand into a flirtatious American Frontier.
