The first Monday in May is New York’s chance to line Fifth Avenue in red and celebrate the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute. The city’s notable Met Gala draws a diverse gathering of personalities who love to play dress up. This year the exhibit will honor the Catholic Imagination tilting the Spring exhibit Heavenly Bodies. The divine glamour travels through the past and present showcasing contributions from the notable design houses that include the Vatican and its significant influence.
